win, it is important to focus on the mind. ⑨0 per cent of performing well is
all about the mind.
②；When the mind is not there the body won’t
③；Let athletes also make decisions in the
training because they have to do so in the race.
④；Ahead of a competition, you must feel
comfortable running at your intended race pace.
⑤；Focus on the process not the goal.
Concentrate on what you can influence.
⑥；To prevent any unnecessary stresses on the
hamstring, it is best to introduce the occasionally hill repetition or speed
session to allow for more higher intensity training.
⑦；You have to learn being comfortable while
⑧；When training for a big race it is
important to take the time to explore other ways of relaxing to restore energy
⑨；When you finish a session you should still
be able to run a little further. Save the really big effort for the
①0；We lay down the basics but then add the
speed sessions at the appropriate time to allow the athletes to run at their
best when it counts most. This to me has been the biggest reason for our success.
